TechMoney Africa Inaugural Summit kicked off today in University of Lagos, Nigeria with the aim to connect leaders from government, private sector, academia and entrepreneurs, leading minds in technology, innovation and finance as well as provide support for tech talent and startups.
Mr Kola Abiola, Chairman Unicornmaking Ltd, in his welcome address stated that this initiative will provide much needed Hope by creating world class solutions to African problems and in turn unlock the entrepreneurial potential of the African youth.
In a statement delivered by Ambassador (Dr) Adeyemi Dipeolu, the Vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osinbajo said the TechMoney Innovation Summit was both timely and relevant, as it addresses the most topical issue in economic development and brings together relevant stakeholders from across the innovation, technological and investing space.
The Vice Chancellor Unilag, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogindipe expressed his delight to partner with the Unicornmaking team, saying the University had been undergoing different programs to equip students for entrepreneurship and technological innovations.
The two-day event, which continues tomorrow 11th of June 2019, will include Tech Talks, Hackathon Program and Pitch Sessions that will produce a winning technology company of the 21st century
